This month we are doing a Help Us… Help Tulsa for the first Oklahoma build project for Operation FINALLY HOME. The project will benefit Staff Sgt. Ronny D. Sweger and his family, which includes wife Claudia and triplet boys Briggs, Brett and Brooks.
Operation FINALLY HOME is a national nonprofit organization that brings together home builders, building suppliers and supporters. Their mission is to provide custom-built, mortgage-free homes to wounded, ill and injured veterans, the widows of the fallen, and their families, creating a solid foundation to help them move forward in their lives.
A Well Deserving Family
U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Ronny D. Sweger joined the Oklahoma National Guard in March 1993. Sweger had multiple deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq and Africa from 2001 to 2004. He incurred a number of injuries as a result of his seven deployments including PTSD, traumatic brain injury, loss of field vision and migraines. Sweger was eventually sent to the Medical Board for evaluation and medically retired from the military in December 2009.
A True American Hero
On Tuesday January 13th at the Tulsa Hurricane Basketball game the Sweger Family was awarded with their new home. It was very heartwarming to be there and witness the community rally around this family. Watch the video below to see how appreciative they were to hear the news.

Post Holiday K-Cups
If you are like me, you are staring to get tired of the winter weather and yearning for some warmer weather (possibly on the beach).
We have a semi cure for that with some post holiday K-Cups from Keurig.
My personal favorite is the Holiday Blend and I am wanting to try the Autumn Harvest Blend.
With all of the coffee we need some yummy creamer and I love when peppermint creamers come out. This Peppermint Mocha one is a great addition.

As many of you are aware we were doing a promotion with Hammermill that benefited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.We stated we would donate $1 for every carton of Hammermill Tidal MP paper that was sold from October 24th thru December 31st.
The counting and tallying have been done and SunDANCE would like to thank all of our generous customers. We sold 1,078 boxes of paper! We wrote a check to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for $1078.00 on behalf of our customers. Thank you all for making this promotion such a big success, we couldn’t have done it without you.

My favorite part of the holidays is wrapping presents for other people. I can remember always wanting to help my mom when it came time to wrap and we made a great time of it.
