My favorite part of the holidays is wrapping presents for other people. I can remember always wanting to help my mom when it came time to wrap and we made a great time of it. Now that I am older, with a daughter of my own, I try to make it special by letting her help with what she can. This year our presents are wrapped in red and silver. Make It Better With Sharpies!

I love Sharpies, I think they are one of the most useful and versatile tools out there for a creative DIY’er. They can take any item from plain Jane to totally fab in minutes! Here are just a few ways Sharpies can be used to improve an everyday item into a fabulous one of kind statement piece.

1.Piggy Banks- Make these adorable banks with a set of Sharpie markers and vinyl.

2. Mugs- From decorating for you and your special someone, to giving as a gift to a long distant friend, these Sharpie decorated mugs are creative way to show you care!

3. Benches- Have a table that has wooden benches around it? Take a Sharpie paint marker and personalize it for you and your family!
