Dirty Santa 2014
Yesterday we celebrated Christmas at SunDANCE. We had a cookie exchange and still have so much cookies for today. It was a great way to start a Monday morning (and a Tuesday Morning).
In the afternoon Dyan gathered us all up and had gifts for us all to play Dirty Santa! We had so much fun playing and it made for a great time to end our Monday. We are very lucky to work for such a fun and caring boss. Here are some pictures of our adventures yesterday.
I was the first one to steal a present, everyone was being too nice and I wanted to mix things up!

Metallic Markers for the Holidays
My favorite part of the holidays is wrapping presents for other people. I can remember always wanting to help my mom when it came time to wrap and we made a great time of it. Now that I am older, with a daughter of my own, I try to make it special by letting her help with what she can. This year our presents are wrapped in red and silver. Help Us, Help Tulsa - John 3:16 Mission
This month we are doing a Help us, Help Tulsa for the John 3:16 Mission. This is a great time to help out those in need in our city, as the weather is getting colder and the holiday season is near. Some of our fellow Oklahomans depend on The Mission for food, fellowship, and warmth.
Finding food is a big burden for the homeless in Tulsa (and worldwide). The Mission helps with that by many different avenues. One of those being food drives and the Thanksgiving banquets.
Many of us know that when it starts getting warm we have sweaters and coats in the closet that can help warm us up. That is not the case for many.
The Mission also has other programs to help around the Tulsa area.

National Read a Book Day
Today, September 6th, is National Read a Book Day. Reading is a great lifetime hobby. It offers so many positive attributes. It’s relaxing and therapeutic. It’s educational. Its entertaining.
