Live music. Food. Drink. And lots of groovy people. The Center of the Universe Festival is a two-day, non-profit music and arts experience held in Tulsa’s booming Brady Arts District. The event, scheduled for July 25-26, 2014, is named after the popular downtown Tulsa landmark, the Center of the Universe, located on the Boston Avenue pedestrian bridge between Archer and First Street. Founded in 2013, the festival drew more than 80,000 fans in its first year.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The 2014 festival will feature more than 100 bands on three outdoor stages and ten club venues. So, yeah, if you like music, you’ll love this event. But do your homework ahead of time because with that many bands playing in so many places, you will want a game plan to soak in all the tunes you want to hear. In addition to all the live music, a street market gives local and regional artists a platform to display and sell their work. Hungry? Thirsty? Behind on your people watching? Choose from the many restaurants, bars and clubs in the Brady District or walk up to numerous food trucks and other vendors we bring in to fill your belly and wet your whistle.
